SINGAPORE, 21 November 2017: A tour operator that started its career specialising in luxury ski tours has branched out into naming the top hottest destinations in 2018.

Scott Dunn opened for business in 1986 in the UK offering sky holidays in Europe. The tour operator has since branched out to offer the full gamut of luxury “tailored holidays” and opened a base in Singapore.

Claiming there is a growing demand for authentic experiences the company identifies 10 hidden gems and with just two exception they have nothing to do with ski slopes. Scott Dunn identifies its top trending luxury spots. Read more

A sub for two sails to the Maldives

SINGAPORE, 30 March 2017: Luxury submarine trips for two are heading for the clear waters of Maldives later this year.

Ocean Group, a specialist promoting dive and water sports experiences, says it will offer submarine trips in the Maldives through partner DeepFlight Adventures.

The first ever three-man submarine (pilot plus two passengers) will be operated by DeepFlight Adventures later this year at a luxury resort in the Maldives, where the current underwater experience is limited to scuba and snorkel. Read more

China’s top luxury travel agents

SHANGHAI, 3 June 2016: Hurun Report says it has identified China’s top outbound luxury travel agencies its latest assessment released late last week.

The results of the best outbound luxury travel agencies were based on a separate customised survey of 56  hoteliers working in luxury hotels, carried out April to May this year in association with the PR agency GHC Asia.

Respondents replied to an unprompted question: “Which three travel agencies do you think are performing best in the outbound travel market in Chinese mainland/Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan?” Read more

US Luxury travel trends revealed

PLYMOUTH, USA, 21 January 2016: Hints on where wealthy US travellers are heading are found in the latest Travel Leaders Group’s  survey, Top Luxury Travel Trends for 2016.

The trends survey covered 900 travel agents who work the luxury travel market showed Cuba leads the  top up-and-coming destinations followed by the United Arab Emirates, African Safaris, Iceland and Antarctica.
