BANGKOK, 17 June 2013: THAI Airways International offers two saver fares “Super Hot June” and “Summer Hot Special” for its international passengers.
The “Super Hot June” promotion sells a roundtrip fare ex-Bangkok (inclusive of fees and surcharges) to various Asian destinations — Mandalay Bt4,600; Yangon Bt6,100; Kuala Lumpur Bt6,800; Hong Kong Bt7,800; and Osaka Bt17,300.

BANGKOK, 14 June 2013: Nok Air offers lower fares on domestic routes for travel 17 June to 29 March next year.
The promotion called “Jing Jai (sincere)” sells one-way fares at Bt990 ex-Bangkok to Phitsanulok, Nakhon Phanom, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani and ex-Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son and Mae Sot routes. Fares are net.
On other designated routes the one-way fare is higher at Bt1,090. They are: Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Sakon Nakhon, Trang, Surat Thani, Buri Ram, Chumphon, Loei, Mae Sot, Nan, Phrae, Roi Et, Ranong, Chiang Mai–Hat Yai, and Chiang Mai–Udon Thani routes.
BANGKOK, 14 June 2013: The first ever long-haul, low-cost flights between Bangkok and Europe were introduced by Oslo-based Norwegian, earlier this month.
Without any fanfare, the airline started flights from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport to Oslo, 2 June, shortly after commencing its first long-haul service from Stockholm to New York.
The only other long-haul, low-cost airline operating in Southeast Asia is AirAsiaX from its base in Kuala Lumpur and serving points in Australia.
BANGKOK, 11 June 2013: Thai AirAsia will add an extra daily flight on its Bangkok-Kuala Lumpur route increasing frequency to 10 flights daily, when combined with AirAsia’s production, effective 16 August.
The additional daily flight FD 2917 will depart from Don Mueang at 1250 and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 1600, while FD 2918 will depart from Kuala Lumpur at 1625 and arrive in Don Mueang Airport, Bangkok, at 1735.
Thai AirAsia CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said AirAsia’s continues to add flights on popular routes starting from 16 August.

The so-called ‘Midnight Sale’ sells a one-way fare, inclusive of surcharges, at Bt990 ex-Bangkok (Don Mueang) to Hat Yai, Phuket, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Surat Thani, Udon Thani, Chumphon, Nakhon Phanom, Mae Sot, Sakon Nakhon and Ranong.
Flights, to and from Chiang Rai, are packed, prompting the airline to exclude the far-north town from the promotion.
BANGKOK, 23 May 2013: Chiang Mai-based Kan Air offers low fares for passengers travelling on its commuter services out of Chiang Mai, but only until the end of the month.
The promotion sells a one-way fare including airport taxes, ex-Chiang Mai, to Mae Hong Son at Bt1,490.
The other routes have slightly higher fares at Bt1,890, ex-Chiang Mai to Phisanulok, Pai and Nan.
