DoubleTree opens in Phuket’s Patong

PHUKET, 6 September 2019: DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort opened for business Thursday the brand’s second hotel in Thailand.

The other property is DoubleTree by Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok.

The brand celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, having acquired 560 hotels across 45 countries.

DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort is located on the popular Patong bay close to shopping, the famous night market and the bay’s notorious red-light district.

Along with 290 rooms and suites, the property features three swimming pools and a fitness centre.

It also offers five restaurants and has facilities for small-and-medium-sized meetings for up to 396 guests.

DoubleTree by Hilton Phuket Banthai Resort is part of Hilton Honour guest-loyalty programme that allows members to choose combinations of points and cash when paying for a stay, an exclusive member discount at the new property and free standard Wi-Fi.

To celebrate the opening, Hilton Honours members can earn an additional 5,000 points when booking three nights or more until 15 December, if booking directly with Hilton.
