BANGKOK, 26 July 2018:: Blue Tree Phuket, a water park and family entertainment complex named Michael Ayling as its general manager, earlier this week.
The 56-acre (140 rai) project is due to pre-launch in August and claims to be the island’s first international-standard water park. It will be fully operational in early 2019.
Ayling worked as a consultant for the project for the past two years.
The UK-born leisure industry professional spent 12 years at Laguna Phuket, one of the island’s best-known resort and leisure complexes.
While working for Laguna Resorts & Hotels, a subsidiary of the Singapore-listed Banyan Tree Holdings, Ayling oversaw the operations of eight different hotels and a golf course, in addition to property development, construction, marketing and sales operations for over 400 residences.
