BANGKOK 2 December 2019: A Bangkok boutique property, Villa de Pranakorn, in the old district of Sam Yot has named Erik Lannge as its new general manager.
Unicorn Hospitality manages the property due to open by the end of the year.
Having joined Oakwood as a management trainee, specialising in food & beverage, Lannge then moved to the landmark Rembrandt Hotel Bangkok.
He was hired as director of food & beverage at Novotel Bangkok Siam, and in 2017 he was appointed a general manager of X2 Koh Samui, a Cross Hotels & Resorts’ resort.
His most recent posting was cluster general manager for three properties: X2 Kui Buri, X2 Le Bayburi, and Away Pranburi Beach Resort.
Now as a member of the Unicorn Hospitality team, he is tasked with the pre-opening of the 47-room Villa de Pranakorn.
Unicorn Hospitality aims to double its portfolio by the end of 2020. At present, the group operates The Silver Palm Bangkok, ZAZZ Urban Bangkok, ZAZZ Urban Ho Chi Minh, X Design Yangon, The Cove Phi Phi, and Daraya Boutique Hotel.
