HANOI, 8 March 2019: Home to the former Imperial Palace, the city of Hue in central Vietnam will host a hot air balloon festival 27 to 29 April.
This year’s festival will attract teams from Thailand, Malaysia, Japan, the Netherland, and host country Vietnam.
The festival is organised and sponsored by Balloons Over Hue Co Ltd, at a cost of VND3 billion or USD129,102.
Visitors to the event will be able to take a balloon ride to view Hue’s city sights, enjoy performances put on by hot air balloons, and take ‘selfie’ photos with the hot air balloons and their teams.
