Swiss Garden hires Peter Gan

KUALA LUMPUR, 6 June 2018: Swiss-Garden International Hotels, Resorts & Inns, has named Peter Gan Hock Chye as chief operating officer.

Gan will be responsible for leading operations for the group’s portfolio of 10 hotels with an inventory of over 2,000 rooms.

He will also supervise the company’s expansion projects as it extends its footprint to new markets.

Gan is a hospitality industry professional with over 30 years of leadership experience, having worked for global hotel groups after starting his career in the United States.

He was most recently, the chief operating officer and general manager for Aoluguya Hotels & Resorts based in Harbin, China a group that has five hotels.

He has also served as chief operating officer for Ansa Hotels & Resorts; and general manager – operations & hotel openings for Dusit International where he opened several hotels in China.

Swiss-Garden International, a hospitality group established in 1991 has a portfolio of 10 hotels, resorts and serviced residences in both city and resort destinations.
