KUCHING, 3 April 2018: The 30-acre Borneo Samariang Water Park a half an hour drive from Kuching’s downtown opened its doors at the weekend.
Some of the promoted attractions for children are slides, a leisure pool, the ‘Aqua Play’ and a man-made ‘Mount Mulu Clearwater River.’
There are also rafts, canopy slides, a wave pool, skydrop ride, galaxy slide, garden terrace and also a mangrove island at the Salak Beach section.
The highest slide stands 80 metres off the ground, roughly the same as a six-storey high building.
The park can accommodate between 2,000 to 3,000 visitors and is expected to draw both local and international visitors this week keen to see and experience the city’s latest family attraction.
