Travellanda adds sightseeing

LONDON, 2 August 2018: UK-based Travellanda, a wholesale travel company has just added over 18,000 activities to its portfolio of over 300,000 hotels, all bookable online by travel agents and tour operators.

The activities span 678 destinations in 132 countries and include an extensive portfolio of conventional sightseeing excursions as well as unusual things tourists can do when they travel overseas.

For example, in Paris, Travellanda now offers a choice of 162 classic sightseeing tours and museum visits, 67 activities themed around cruising and outdoor adventures, and 45 themed around gastronomy, wine and nightlife.

Exotic and unusual pursuits include all kinds of cultural and dramatic performances, hot-air balloon rides, zip line excursions above forests, dune buggy rides through the desert, submarine safaris amongst coral reefs, sunset cruises, walking tours tasting street food, cooking and cocktail-making classes and even a visit to the Sumo Stable in Tokyo to see the sport’s stars close-up.

Travellanda Launches Activities A B2B accommodation wholesaler, Travellanda has a turnover exceeding £60 million in less than eight years.

Using the Travellanda XML Connectivity, Online Reservation System or White Label solution, travel agencies, tour operators, B2B online systems and OTA’s have access to a wide range of hotels and apartments from self-catering and one-star accommodation to deluxe five-star properties.

Travellanda’s head office is in London and it has local offices in Bangkok and Istanbul.
