Hong Kong hosts eSports

HONG KONG, 13 July 2018: Hong Kong Tourism Board will once again host the largest ever local e-sports extravaganza, ICBC (Asia) e-Sports & Music Festival Hong Kong.

The event will be staged, 24 to 26 August, in Hall 3 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

This year, the festival will be larger, highlighting three top international e-sports tournaments with over 110 players participating from around the world.

The Experience Zone, one of the highlights of the festival, will be scaled up to include the latest e-sports and related products.

Three top tournaments
Tournaments will feature a strong player line-up and the highest prize pool in Hong Kong’s e-sports history.

In the “Return of the Legends 2018”, former winners of world championships and other legendary players will form two teams, Team East and Team West, to compete for glory.

ZOTAC Cup Masters CS: GO 2018 Grand Finals will offer prize money of USD300,000, setting a new record for Hong Kong’s e-sports tournaments.

The Hong Kong PUBG World Invitational championship will see 14 international and two local teams vie for prize money of USD150,000, which is the largest amount ever in local PUBG tournaments.

The Experience Zone will showcase the latest e-sports products such as game displays, VR experience, mobile game trials, KOL stages, and music performances.

HKTB is also partnering with the CHKCI (Chamber of Hong Kong Computer Industry) to provide a ticket promotion with the Hong Kong Computer & Communications Festival.

Visitors can enjoy a special ticket price to enter the two events.

Tickets for all e-sports tournaments in the ICBC (Asia) e-Sports & Music Festival Hong Kong are now available for sale at hkticketing.com priced at HKD250, HKD120 and HKD50. The admission fee to the Experience Zone is HKD10. Tickets will be available at the HKCEC box office during the festival.
