THAI hosts cabin safety event

BANGKOK, 11 May 2018: IATA flight safety experts and airline executives managing flight operations met in Bangkok recently for the IATA Cabin Operations Safety Conference 2018.

Thai Airways International hosted the event held at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok.

Thai Airways International executive vice president of operations, Pongtorn Thepkanjana (4th from right), along with International Air Transport Association director safety and flight operations products, Rick Hunger (2nd from right), opened the conference organised by IATA.

They were joined by airline executives and IATA head, operational safety, Rob Holliday (3rd from left).

The Cabin Operations Safety Conference focused on the latest regulations and procedures for cabin safety, while offering an opportunity for airlines to exchange observations.

Cabin Safety Management Systems are a key element to ensure a safe environment on board aircraft.
