Cross Hotels & Resorts turns attention to UK

BANGKOK, 25 October 2019: Cross Hotels & Resorts has appointed Red Tree Representation UK, to represent the Asia-wide hotel group in the UK and Ireland.

Red Tree Representation director, Rob Haynes, will head up marketing and sales for Cross Hotels & Resorts. He will represent the group at the upcoming WTM London 2019,  4 to 6 November, in the Thailand zone at Stand AS700.

The focus will be on the introduction of Cross Hotels & Resorts brands; X2 five-star hotels and resorts; X2 Vibe lifestyle hotels and resorts; and Away casual resorts and retreats.

Special attention will be placed on three main destinations during the WTM. These are Bali with Away Bali Legian Camakila and X2 Bali Breakers; Phuket with X2 Vibe Phuket Patong; and Chiang Mai with X2 Vibe Chiang Mai, X2 Chiang Mai Riverside and Away Chiang Mai Thapae – A Vegetarian Retreat.

Cross Hotels & Resorts  EVP – commercial Paul Wilson said: “The UK and Ireland are extremely important markets for Cross Hotels & Resorts.”

Commenting on the appointment, Hayes said: “Cross Hotels & Resorts has three different brands and properties in destinations that I know the UK and Irish consumers will enjoy. I look forward to meeting with my colleagues in the UK and Irish travel trade to discuss our three brands and our exciting plans for the future.”

Cross Hotels & Resorts is an international hotel management company wholly owned by the ASX listed Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG).

It provides management for hotels, resorts, villas, serviced apartments and branded residences.
