HANOI, 16 October 2019: Bamboo Airways launched ticket sales through all distribution channels for two international services linking cities in Vietnam with Seoul in South Korea.

The airline has been operating international flights to Seoul under the designation of a scheduled charter with limited sales channels, restricted mainly to tour operator distribution.

Now the services to Korea from Cam Ranh and Danang are now available directly to travellers who can book seats on the airline’s website and most OTA sales channels.

The Cam Ranh (Nha Trang) – Seoul Incheon schedule service will start 15 November with a daily A321 flight departing Cam Ranh at 2150 and arriving in Seoul at 0420 on the following day.

The Danang – Seoul schedule service starts earlier on 17 October also daily using an A321 (The actual switch to scheduled service will take place 27 October)

The flight will depart Danang at 1620 and arrive in Seoul at 2230. The return flight will depart Seoul at 2335 and arrive in Danang at 0235 on the following morning.,

Most of the business for Danang comes from golfers who head for competition golf courses and the beach resorts located close to Danang City.

Meanwhile, Korea’s Asiana Airlines will continue to serve the Seoul Incheon – Danang route with a second daily that started 1 September. Carrying mainly Korean holidaymakers the two daily flights using a mix of Boeing 747-400s and A330-300s will continue to the end of the winter season March 2020.
