BANGKOK, 24 July 2019: Thai Airways International is increasing its preferred seat selection on all international flights for a fee.
Economy class and Royal Silk Class passengers can use the service to book a preferred seat effective 27 July, but for the website, the service will be online in August.
According to THAI executive vice president commercial, Wiwat Piyawiroj, the preferred seat selection is an option for economy class and Royal Silk Class passengers travelling on international flights.

After tickets are issued, economy class passengers can then purchase front row or exit row seats in each zone of economy class. These preferred seats are allocated to passengers who pay a surcharge when selecting a seat that is then included in the fare cost.
Royal Silk Class passengers may purchase first-class seats on flights where preferred seat service is available. The preferred seat fee varies based on actual flight distance flown.

For more information and to purchase preferred seats, passengers visit thaiairways.com.
Or select seats in advance by calling THAI Contact Centre at Tel. 02-356-1111 (24 hours a day), or a THAI check-in counter on the departure date. Preferred seats will be available for purchase on THAI’s website beginning mid-August.
