BANGKOK, 12 June 2019: Thai Airways International will increase flights to Fukuoka from seven to 10 per week effective 13 July.
To support the new flights the airline is offering a promotional fare for travel from 13 July to 30 September.
THAI’s promotional roundtrip fare on the Bangkok-Fukuoka flight outbound (TG686) and return (TG687 or TG649) sells at THB14,420 per person.
For those travelling in a group of four people or more, the fare drops to THB13,670 baht person (taxes and surcharge fees included).
Reservations and tickets must be issued by 31 August while the travel period spans from 13 July to 30 September.
THAI executive vice president commercial, Wiwat Piyawiroj, said the additional flights would cater to increased demand on the route to Fukuoka.
THAI uses an Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the route configured with 36 seats in Royal Silk Class and 263 seats in economy class.
Flight details
TG 648 (daily flight) departs from Bangkok at 0050 and arrives in Fukuoka at 0800.
TG 649 (daily flight) departs from Fukuoka at 1135 and arrives in Bangkok at 1455.
TG 686 (Monday, Thursday and Saturday) departs from Bangkok at 0950 and arrives in Fukuoka at 1700.
TG 687 (Monday, Thursday and Saturday) departs from Fukuoka at 1820 and arrives in Bangkok at 2140.
