-

BANGKOK, 10 May 2019: Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau posted details of a new pavilion design that will be seen for the first time at trade shows this year.

The new look pavilion will tour five international trade shows that specialise in the lucrative events market; (ITCM China 2019, IMEX Frankfurt 2019, IT&CMA and CTW 2019, IMEX America 2019 and IBTM World 2019.

According to TCEB’s senior vice president, Nichapa Yoswee, who heads business development, trade show pavilions usually deliver around 40 business leads for the bureau per venue.

During the five most recent trade shows (IMEX Frankfurt 2018, IMEX America 2018, IBTM World 2018, AIME 2019 and ITCM China 2019) the leads translated into around 10 firm meetings and incentive groups that generated 2,348 delegates and THB180 million (USD5.62 million) in estimated revenue.

The new pavilion will be introduced to European event organisers at the upcoming IMEX Frankfurt 2019, 21 to 23 May

Joining TCEB at IMEX Frankfurt 2019 are 19 Thai suppliers and two TCEB partners – Thai Airways International and Thailand Incentive and Convention Association. All told they will have 285 scheduled appointments and hope to return home with 38 potential leads to follow up.
