Radisson Blu plants flag in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, 31 May 2019: The Radisson Blu brand continues to expand with the opening of an urban resort in Shanghai.

Situated in the city’s Hongqiao business district, Radisson Blu Forest Manor Shanghai Hongqiao has 439 rooms and suites.  Rooms have views of the resort’s pools and city landscape.

For business travellers the executive rooms and suites, have access to an executive lounge that provides private check-in/out, meeting rooms, a business centre and all-day refreshments.

Additional features include a  fully-equipped fitness centre, a spa and a 25-metre indoor swimming pool.

Shanghai attracted 8.7 million international visitors in 2018, along with millions of domestic travellers.

Radisson Hotel Group vice president operations China, Gary Ye said: “We are delighted to launch yet another Radisson Blu hotel in Shanghai. With world-class accommodation, facilities and event space, all contained in an urban resort environment.”

Radisson Blu Forest Manor Shanghai is a 1km taxi ride from the National Exhibition and Convention Centre and 3 km from Hongqiao International Airport, which handles more than 40 million passengers a year.
