BANGKOK, 24 May 2019: Avani Hotels & Resorts says it is on track to add seven new Avani properties this year and some of them get a plus sign that shows off a signature feature.
Currently, it has 24 properties in 15 countries under its management with 4,500 keys and claims to have 5,000 more in the pipeline.
This year, Avani Hotels & Resorts will manage Avani Central Busan in South Korea, Avani Sukhumvit Bangkok in Thailand, Avani Seminyak in Bali, an Avani managed hotel in Siem Reap, as well as two Avani Residences in Australia and Avani Ibn Battuta Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Last year, the group added Avani+ a brand extension that was first attached to its Luang Prabang property, followed by Avani+ Samui.
Avani+ properties are supposed to add an exclusive signature or “elevating experiences” to warrant the plus branding. However, the significance of the plus signs is not clearly identified even in the group’s press information.
Avani+ Riverside Bangkok was the most recent to dot its name with a plus sign but again the group didn’t elaborate on the nature of the signature product that justifies the extra branding symbol.
