Finnair adds routes in Europe

-

SINGAPORE, 2 November 2018: Finnair will open three new routes to Bologna, Bordeaux and Porto for the 2019 peak summer season to strengthen its network in Europe.

In addition, capacity will also be added to popular summer destinations.

Finnair announced it would fly three weekly flights to Bologna, Italy, 10 April to 18 October.

Bologna is well known for its gastronomy and wine scene. In addition, the city is an easy gateway to several other popular Italian cities and regions.

The airline will also offer two weekly flights to Bordeaux, France, 11 May to 14 September. The historical World Heritage city is famed for its wine.

Twice-weekly flights are scheduled to the coastal city of Porto, northern Portugal, between 21 June and 12 August. This route follows the successful launch of flights to Lisbon earlier in the year. All three new routes will be served by an A319 aircraft from Helsinki.

The airline serves the Singapore to Helsinki route with an A350 aircraft that arrives in time to connect with the airline’s morning flights to major cities in Europe.

Finnair will also add capacity during the peak summer season 2019 with weekly frequencies to Alanya-Gazipasa, Palma de Mallorca, Split and Tel Aviv.

Starting 29 April, Finnair will also offer daily flights to Hanover and fly an additional triangle flight on Wednesdays between Helsinki, Ivalo and Kittilä from 24 April to 23 October.
