BANGKOK, 25 July 2018: Anantara Hotels and Resorts announced it will introduce its top hotel brand to Chengdu, China, with the opening of Anantara Jinsha Chengdu Hotel in 2021.
The property is part of the integrated Essence Chengdu project, owned by Chengdu Tai Hang Rui Hong Real Estate.
Located in Chengdu’s western Qingyang district, Essence Chengdu will cover a 200-hectare site of five plots.
Phase one will consist of mid-tier and high-end serviced apartments, town houses, residential villas and the 150-key Anantara Jinsha Chengdu Hotel, which will front the project’s 47-hectare eco-wetland park to provide an urban oasis with more privacy and outdoor space when compared to other central city hotels.
Anantara Jinsha Chengdu Hotel will feature 150 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant and specialty restaurant, lobby lounge and bar/tea lounge, a gym and fitness facilities, outdoor and indoor swimming pools, a spa and additional recreational and leisure facilities for family guests.
Located along the Yangxi Western Third Ring Road in Chengdu, the Essence Chengdu mixed-use project is a 40-minute drive from Chengdu Shangliu International Airport.
Chengdu Shangliu International Airport is China’s fourth largest airport and is expected to accommodate 60 million passengers by 2019.
