TG picks up award in Korea

-

SEOUL, 18 July 2018: Korea Association of Travel Agents declared Thai Airways International “a travel agent friendly airline” during its annual awards, last week.

The association recognised various airlines, but THAI gained its award for its business networking and strong positive relations with travel agents.

Despite the inroads of direct selling and competition from online travel agencies, THAI maintained strong sales from Korea’s traditional travel agency channels.

The award criteria were based on the level of travel agents’ satisfaction and quality of services rendered to customers in various areas of the airline’s service provision.

KATA began granting airlines awards in 2015 in order to link airlines and travel agents together to achieve cooperation.
