SINGAPORE, 15 June 2018: Tour East launched its new website, Thursday, designed to be a knowledge and information centre for its B2B travel industry partners.
The new site also acts as a gateway for travel industry partners using Tour East’s platform “Web-Connect” which delivers thousands of travel services in Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar.
Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Korea will shortly be added to the portfolio with the aim to have the whole network accessible by year-end
Commenting on the launch, Tour East senior vice president Chris Bailey said: “Our aim in designing this new site was to create a fresh new digital shop window to the world of Tour East and its extensive portfolio of services, products and indeed destination information from its 15 countries of operation located throughout Asia-Pacific.”
The next phase for the website includes adding enhancements to the MICE section to offer a one-stop tool for organisers to collate important information for when they are planning their programmes throughout the APAC region.
Meanwhile, Tour East confirmed it will grow its MICE related business and client support structure in Europe by appointing Marc Lambert of QuoVadis to represent the tour company.
Established in 1972, the Tour East Group has 14 operating destinations in Singapore, China & Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand.
