Thai Lion double daily to Jakarta

-

BANGKOK, 20 April 2018: Thai Lion Air will increase flights to double daily on the Bangkok-Jakarta route, effective 23 April.

Currently, the low-cost airline offers a single daily service departing 1905  from Bangkok’s low-cost airline hub at Don Mueang airport.

The new daily service will depart Bangkok at 0900 and arrive in Jakarta at 1230.

Flight time is around three hours and 50 minutes and a check of the airline’s website quotes a roundtrip fare of around THB 3,095 including tax, but not insurance.

The airline will use the new Boeing 737 version MAX 9 aircraft for both services effective 30 April. Until then a 737 MAX 8 will serve the route, according to AirlineRoute’s timetable information.

The airline is selling what it calls a “Mega” promotion to more than 28 destinations, claiming fares are discounted by 50%. The booking period for the promotion closes 22 April, but there are still some deals open for travel ending 30 November.
