THAI’s acting executive vice president, commercial, Wiwat Piyawiroj led the opening event at the CentralWorld department store, this week.
Advertising placements will appear on television, billboards, and online media.
The airline faces stiff competition from low-cost airlines in Thailand, while airlines based in the Middle East have taken the lion’s share of the leisure traffic from Europe that is fed through hubs at Doha, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
It’s latest campaign using a Thai actor is mainly geared to shoring up its image with Thai travellers and follows similar campaigns introduced by Thai AirAsia and Nok Air using Thai celebrities.
