Tripadvisor names the World’s top beaches

SINGAPORE, 8 September 2020: Tripadvisor named its World’s top beaches list with just one beach in Asia featuring on this year’s ranking.

India’s Radhanagar Beach on Havelock Island, which is part of the  Andaman and Nicobar Islands, landed in 12th place on the global list of top 25 beaches based on Tripadvisor reviews. It was the only Asian beach listed with notable absentees such as Bali and the Maldives, that usually figure in global listings, failing to make the cut in 2020.

In 22nd placed, Australia’s Whitehaven Beach in the Whitsunday Islands was the only Pacific beach destination on the list dominated by beaches in the Americas. More than half of the top beaches (13) are located in the Americas and 10 in Europe.

Named the World’s Top 25 Beaches Tripadvisor list released at the weekend “these are the beaches that travellers say are the World’s best.

8. Flamenco Beach

10. Kleftiko Beach
