Zero fares in name only

SINGAPORE, 9 October 2019: No surprises, Vietjet is giving away promotional tickets at zero cost for travel around Asia.

The airline claims it is giving away a hundred thousand tickets with travellers paying just the tax and basic fees.

Free tickets are available on Vietjet’s official website, from now until 10 October, but only between 1300 to 1500 (GMT+8), a major turn-off for people hoping to enjoy a stress-free lunch break from the work desk.

Travel validity runs from 10 November to 30 June 2020 (**).

The promotion is valid from Singapore for flights to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. It is also applicable for international routes between Vietnam and Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar and Cambodia.

Vietjet Vice President Nguyen Thanh Son said the airline is “pioneering new direct routes such as Danang – Taipei/ Tokyo (Haneda), Ho Chi Minh City – Bali; Ho Chi Minh City/ Hanoi – New Delhi, which helps save transit time for passengers and give them more time to experience the destinations.”

Besides Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Danang, travellers from other cities such as Hai Phong, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc can all enjoy the convenience of direct flights to Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
