AirAsia adds Hari Raya flights

SEPANG, 4 April 2019: AirAsia will add 437 extra flights during the Hari Raya festive week 30 May to 16 June.

Additional flights will be included in the timetable from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore, Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Sandakan, Tawau, Alor Setar, Kota Bharu, Langkawi, Terengganu and Johor Bahru.

From Johor Bahru additional flights will be offered to Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Tawau and Alor Setar.

AirAsia Malaysia CEO Riad Asmat said: “To cope with the expected surge in demand during the festive period, we are adding an additional 78,000 seats…And there’s more to come as our teams work hard to secure more flights.”  

The additional flights are now available for sale on airasia.com and the AirAsia mobile app.

Hari Raya Puasa means “Day of Celebration” is an important religious festival celebrated by the Muslims in Singapore and Malaysia. This festival marks the end of Ramadan the month-long month of fasting.

This year Hari Raya Puasa is celebrated Wednesday, 5 June on the 156th day of the year.
