Royal Cliff wins wine awards

-

PATTAYA, 29 January 2019: Five restaurants in the Royal Cliff Hotels Group’s resort complex have once again been recognised for their outstanding wine programmes according to Wine Spectator’s 2018 Restaurant Wine List Awards.

As a recipient of Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence 2018” for the 12th consecutive year the citation recognised the following restaurants;  Caprice – A Taste of Riviera; Huang Chao – Royal Cantonese Cuisine; Larn Thong – Authentic Thai Traditions; Rossini – Italian favourites and the Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar – the group’s signature and heritage restaurant, continue to be honoured as a top destination for wine lovers.

The dining experience and exceptional wine selection offered in these award-winning restaurants have achieved another milestone for Royal Cliff’s talented culinary team.

Wine Spectator’s “Best of Award of Excellence” began recognising the world’s best wine lists in 1981 and awards restaurants which offer extensive selections of fine wine with significant vintage depth and excellent breadth across multiple regions.

“This year’s class of restaurants is one of the most impressive and innovative ever,” said Wine Spectator editor and publisher, Marvin R. Shanken. “Their wine lists keep improving, because wine lovers are eager to explore and learn. The goal of our Restaurant Awards is to support restaurant wine programmes and bring them to diners’ attention.”

Royal Cliff Hotels Group is home to 11 award-winning restaurants that offer a spectacular variety of dining options. Being honoured repeatedly by a highly prestigious organisation such as the Wine Spectator has confirmed the excellent food and wine pairings that each restaurant offers and the remarkable dining experiences that they provide.

Situated on a 64-acre private parkland estate overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, the Royal Cliff Hotels Group operates four award-winning hotels.
