Qatar upgrades European flights

DOHA, Qatar, 14 December 2018:  Qatar Airways will upgrade aircraft on flights to three European destinations over the winter season.

From this week onwards three popular European destinations – Helsinki Stockholm and Manchester – gained aircraft upgrades.

Manchester and Stockholm routes have been upgraded from an Airbus A350 to the more spacious Boeing 777, and the Helsinki route has been upgraded from an Airbus A320 to a larger Airbus A330.In addition, flights to London, Gatwick, have also been increased from 14 to 16 weekly with immediate effect.

The popular route, which is served by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, was reintroduced in May and is Qatar Airways’ sixth UK gateway.

The airline recently revealed new global destinations, including Gothenburg, Sweden and Danang in Vietnam.

Earlier this year, Qatar Airways increased the frequency of its flights to Vienna, Austria; Zürich, Switzerland; Copenhagen, Denmark; Madrid, Spain; Warsaw, Poland and Rome, Italy.
