Premier names Asia manager

-

LONDON, 28 September 2018: The UK independent tour operator, Premier Holidays, has appointed a new product manager to oversee its core destinations in Asia.

John Parker is now heading up the UK-based operator’s Asia programme including Thailand, Malaysia, Borneo, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Brunei.

Premier’s former head of faraway, David Carlaw, handed over the reins earlier this month.

Parker has been a product manager at Premier Holidays for 12 years, and in the past led contracting in Hong Kong, China, Australia and New Zealand. He still remains product manager for Africa.

He said: “I’m really excited about taking charge of some of Premier Holidays’ key destinations in Asia, as well as getting to know and building relationships with our suppliers in these countries in order to enhance our product portfolio in the future.”

Thailand is one of the company’s top selling destinations with a current holiday package deal priced at UKP999 for the period September to January.

Premier Holidays (www.trade.premierholidays.co.uk) is a privately owned, independent tour operator with over 80 years’ experience in organising tailor-made holidays.
