Malaysia’s theme park meet agents

BANGKOK, 27 March 2018: Sunway Theme Parks and Tourism Malaysia Bangkok organised a Sunway Theme Parks Showcase, last week, attended by 100 members of the travel trade and media.

An initiative of Sunway Theme Parks and Tourism Malaysia, the showcase provided a platform for industry players to network with Sunway Theme Parks and Tourism Malaysia marketing and PR heads.

“It is an opportunity for tour operators, tourism products operators, destination management companies and airlines to receive updates on the latest developments as well as news and product enhancements at two iconic theme parks in Malaysia,” said Tourism Malaysia director Bangkok Office, Abdul Haris Hadi.

He noted that Thai tourist arrivals to Malaysia should exceed the target of 1.9 million visits.

Sunway Theme Parks general manager of sales and marketing, Angeline Pasqual added: “Sunway Theme Parks’ objective is to inspire and present our products so tour companies can develop packages that will include the theme parks as a preferred destination for leisure as well as MICE groups.”

Sunway Lagoon, Malaysia’s premier multi-park destination located at the heart of Sunway City, 30 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur’s city centre and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). With over 90 attractions and six adventure zones, Sunway Lagoon attracts more than 1.5 million visitors each year.
