Qantas flights relocate

-

SYDNEY 9 May 2018: Qantas will shift its flight operations to Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Terminal 3, effective 11 May.

The airline said the terminal move will give its customers more space and an improved airport environment.

Qantas and Jetstar Asia confirmed the two airlines will complete the move well ahead of the airport’s deadline to relocate  all international airlines to Terminal 3 by the end of July 2018.

The new terminal offers customers larger check-in areas as well as an improved selection of cafes, restaurants and retail shops within the terminal.

Customers will continue to be eligible for lounge access if they are booked for travel in business class, or have Qantas Platinum One, Platinum or Gold Frequent Flyer status (or oneworld equivalent).

There will be no change to flight schedules or check-in timings.

Passengers are advised to check in at the airport at least two hours before departure and are reminded to allow ample time for their ground transfers to and from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Qantas operates four to six weekly services between Sydney and Jakarta using A330-200 aircraft.

It currently operates from Terminal 2 at Jakarta’s Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, which will be converted into a domestic terminal this July, according to the airport operator.

Terminal 2 and 3 are connected by a Skytrain service, but travellers should allow 30 minutes to move between terminals.
