Mercure brand expands in Bangkok

BANGKOK, 22 September 2017: AccorHotels is promoting its latest addition, Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, formerly the President Palace that closed in December 2015 for renovations.

Opened earlier this year, under the AccorHotels’ Mercure brand the group is currently offering a special “opening rate” of THB3,200 plus service and tax.

Located, close to BTS Skytrain Nana Station and the MRT Subway Asoke Station, the remake of the 232-room hotel delivers a Thai-style décor and furnishings. Read more

Sofitel opens in Lion City

SINGAPORE, 13 September 2017 – AccorHotels has confirmed its latest property, Sofitel Singapore City Centre will open its doors this October and will be the group’s landmark 800th hotel in Asia Pacific.

Located in Tanjong Pagar, a district famous for its historic shop houses, the 223-room hotel is elegantly designed, reflecting Singapore’s rich cultural heritage with French flair.

Accor closes global discounts campaign

BANGKOK, 12 September 2017: AccorHotels will close its discount deal ‘Private Sale a minute before midnight 14 September ending discounts of up to 40% on properties worldwide.

In Asia discounts vary from 30% at properties in India to 20% off in the rest of Asia.

It requires a booking of at least two nights in India and Japan, for stays from 15 September to 30 August 2018. Read more

More luxury for Accor

SINGAPORE, 4 September 2017: AccorHotels is strengthening its Asia Pacific presence with six confirmed luxury and upscale openings in the next three months.

The upcoming openings will see the expansion of the Sofitel and Pullman brands, which fall under AccorHotels’ luxury and upscale collection. Raffles Hotel, Fairmont, MGallery by Sofitel, Swissôtel and Grand Mercure brands, complete the group’s high-end offerings.

The first of the region’s openings was the Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara, which launched late August, with 312 rooms in the heart of the Malaysian capital. Read more

AccorHotels in Seoul hotel plex

SEOUL, 15 August 2017: Korea’s first ‘lifestyle hotel-plex’ Seoul Dragon City will open, 1 October, featuring four AccorHotels brands and attractive travel deals to mark the opening.

The complex will have 1,700 rooms across various properties, 11 restaurants and bars, 17 meeting rooms and two multi-function grand ballrooms.

Described as a world first, the project will have four floors of entertainment in a Sky Bridge suspended between two of the towers. Read more

Accor cements hold in villa market

PARIS, 8 August 2017: Travellers will soon be able to experience over 10,000 homes, villas and apartments combined with professional hospitality and concierge service, worldwide,  under a single brand onefinestay.

AccorHotels announced, last week, it was grouping Travel Keys, Squarebreak and onefinestay with the intention to integrate the three companies under a single onefinestay brand by the end of the year.

The announcement signifies the finalising of an agreement with the founders of Squarebreak for the acquisition of the entire share capital. Read more
