Guangzhou to host World Routes 2018

BARCELONA, 2 October 2017: The annual World Routes forum was officially handed over to next year’s host city, Guangzhou, at the closing ceremony in Barcelona late last week.

World Routes brings together airlines, airports and destinations to plan and negotiate future air services.

Guangzhou, an economic hub on the Pearl River in Guangdong Province, South China, often promoted alongside Hong Kong and Macau will host the event in 2018. Read more

MANCHESTER, UK, 25 August 2016: Chengdu in western China hopes to become a major transport hub and hosting World Routes aviation forum 24 to 27 September will underscore those long-range ambitions.

World Routes is an annual event that brings together airlines, airports, tourism authorities and governments to plan new air services. It travels to a new location annually to stimulate different aviation markets.

This year’s host city, Chengdu, is the capital of Sichuan Province and one of the fastest developing cities in the world. Read more
