SINGAPORE, 9 November 2026: Saudia plans to launch direct flights between Riyadh (RUH) and Tokyo Narita (NRT) but has delayed the launch from November to mid-January 2027, according to a recent Wego Travel Blog.
Initially, the airline said it would launch three weekly direct services on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday on the Riyadh (RUH)-Tokyo Narita (NRT) route starting this month. Launch dates have moved to mid-January. The flight time is 10 hours and 25 minutes on a Boeing 787-9 with 297 seats.
Flight schedule
SV824 departs Riyadh (RUH) at 0100 and arrives in Tokyo Narita (NRT) at 1725.
SV825 departs Tokyo Narita (NRT) at 2130 and arrives in Riyadh (RUH) at 0525 (plus a day).
