Vietjet Air expands fleet

SINGAPORE, 31 October 2023: Vietjet took delivery of its 101st aircraft, a new 240-seat A321neo ACF aircraft that landed last Friday at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City.

The airline has 384 aircraft on order from leading manufacturers worldwide, and despite the challenges faced during the three-year Covid pandemic, Vietjet has flown 178 million passengers.

Vietjet’s brand-new A321neo ACF aircraft was welcomed by a water cannon salute upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

New aircraft will support flight network expansion to destinations such as Australia, India, China, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Southeast Asia.

In addition, the new A321neo ACF aircraft cuts fuel consumption by 16% with noise reduced by 75% and achieves 50% in emission savings.
