DESARU, Malaysia 5 October 2022: Luxury resort Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas has appointed Rolex Phang Chyuan Shei as the property’s new People and Culture Director.
In his new role, Rolex will be in charge of maintaining employee relations and ensuring the implementation of Anantara’s mission and talent strategy, as well as focusing on employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and compliance.
Rolex joins Anantara Desaru Coast from Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel, where he has led performance management and employee relations since 2018.
He also chairs the Malaysian Association of Hotels – Human Resources Johor Chapter.
Anantara Desaru Coast Resort & Villas is located on a 17-kilometre beachfront facing the South China Sea and is part of high-end resort development.
