ABU DHABI, UAE, 28 October 2026: Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, celebrates the arrival of its iconic Airbus A380 in Thailand, marking a major milestone as its flagship aircraft touched down in Bangkok on Monday.

The inaugural service marked the start of daily A380 operations between Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport and Bangkok, bringing increased capacity and Etihad’s most celebrated onboard experiences to one of its most popular leisure destinations.

The A380’s introduction comes as the peak winter travel season begins, supporting strong demand for travel between Thailand, the Middle East, and Europe. The launch further strengthens Etihad’s premium offering across Asia, following the A380’s introduction on its daily Abu Dhabi–Tokyo service in June 2026.
