SINGAPORE, 23 February: 2017 Bali was named Best Island in the World by DestinAsian Readers’ Choice Awards 2017, organised by a tourism publication based in Singapore.
In addition to Bali taking the top slot, neighbouring island of Lombok was also placed among the top 10 Best islands in the World according to DestinAsian readers.
Phuket island, in South Thailand, came in second with Samui island taking the 4th slot and Phi Phi in eighth place. Read more
BANGKOK, 3 February 2017: Ministry of Tourism and Sports presented awards, Wednesday, to Thailand’s seven best tourist destinations of 2016.
Tourism and Sports Minister, Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, said the seven best destinations were considered from 17 destinations that qualified to be part of five thematic clusters that would have the potential to be part of a national itinerary.

SINGAPORE, 25 January 2017: TripAdvisor announced, Tuesday, the Asian winners of its 2017 Travellers’ Choice awards for Hotels.
The top three hotels for Asia are located in Southeast Asia – Mandapa, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, in Ubud, Indonesia, ranked no 1 in Asia and second in the World, followed by boutique hotel Shinta Mani Resort in Siem Reap, Cambodia and Hanoi La Siesta Hotel & Spa in Hanoi, Vietnam.

PORTLAND, OREGON, 11 January 2017: The World Food Travel Association (WFTA), announced last week that the 2017 FoodTrekking Awards for excellence in food and beverage tourism are now open.
Breaking away from the tradition of naming the Top 10, or best restaurants list, FoodTrekking Awards recognisesexperience excellence in 13 categories within the food and beverage tourism industry.

BALI, 22 December 2016: Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort snatched various awards recently for luxury resorts and golf.
It won the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2016 as the top luxury golf resort in Southeast Asia competing with prominent golf courses in the Asia Pacific Region.
BANGKOK, 19 December 2016: Centara Nova Hotel & Spa Pattaya took home the Green Hotel Gold Award 2016, while sister-hotel, Centara Pattaya Hotel, won the Silver Award.
The awards were presented at Thailand’s prestigious environmental awards ceremony for tourism industry operators.

MUMBAI, 6 December 2016: Cox & Kings was crowned winner at the sixth edition of Conde Nast Traveller India’s Reader’s Travel Awards, when it bagged the title of favourite tour operator.

PATTAYA, 11 October 2016: Five restaurants at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group have once again been honoured for their outstanding wine programmes in Wine Spectator’s 2016 Restaurant Wine List Awards.

SINGAPORE, 29 September 2016: Singapore was named top cruise destination by industry experts for a second time in three years at the 10th Seatrade Cruise Awards held last week.
Earlier in the month, Singapore, was also voted top Asian port of call in the inaugural Cruise Critic Cruisers’ Choice Destination Awards.

SINGAPORE, 23 September 2016: After 10 weeks and numerous rounds of judging, the Singapore Tourism Board announced ,Wednesday, 81 finalists for the 2016 Singapore Tourism Awards.
The awards are presented in three categories; Experience Excellence, Enterprise Excellence and Customer Service.
