The group also paid the remaining AED2 billion (USD545 million) in dividends to its owner, the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD), of the AED3.5 billion (USD953 million) declared for the financial year 2025-26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first six months of 2026-27 brought significant challenges to Emirates\u2019 operations as intermittent airspace restrictions and closures across the region tested the airline\u2019s operational agility, while government travel advisories reshaped consumer choices and travel flows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this period, Emirates focused on restoring its network and connectivity options through its Dubai hub.
