This approach is underpinned by Air Astana\u2019s Sustainability &amp; ESG Procurement Policy Statement and Supplier Code of Conduct, which set out the principles and expectations for responsible procurement and sustainable engagement with suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cReceiving the IATA ISP Sustainable Procurement certification marks an important milestone in Air Astana\u2019s sustainability journey. As the first airline in Central Asia and the CIS, and only the third airline in the world to achieve this certification, we are proud to set a benchmark for sustainable procurement in Kazakhstan and the region,\u201d said Air Astana Chief Executive Officer Ibrahim Canliel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This achievement reflects Air Astana\u2019s ongoing commitment to advancing responsible business practices and strengthening sustainability across its operations and supply chain. By embedding ESG principles into procurement and engaging suppliers as partners, the airline continues to support the long-term development of a more sustainable and resilient aviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Air Astana recognises progress among its suppliers and business partners through the annual Air Astana ESG Awards, held since 2024.
