Sarawak possesses an extraordinary gastronomic heritage, and it is our privilege to help bring the stories of its restaurants and culinary communities to a global audience. These awards recognise not only excellence on the plate, but also the passion, heritage, innovation and commitment to sustainability that are shaping the future of gastronomy in Sarawak.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 25 awardees were recognised across five categories. Within each category, the awardees were presented alphabetically by restaurant name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sustainable Gastronomy Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">TOP25 Restaurants also expanded the reach of its Global Sustainable Gastronomy Awards, which were launched in Bangkok in December 2025, recognising restaurants demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainability and responsible gastronomy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sarawak awardees:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cavakita Rooftop Bar &amp; Restaurant, Miri;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kechala, Santubong;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>River View Caf\u00e9, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ROOTS, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Bikalan, Bau.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The inclusion of the Sustainable Gastronomy Awards reflects the growing importance of responsible and sustainable practices in the global gastronomy and tourism sectors, while recognising Sarawak as a sustainable destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Top International Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Top International Restaurants category celebrates establishments offering international culinary experiences while contributing to Sarawak\u2019s diverse and dynamic dining scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Awardees:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ceylonese Restaurant, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gu Jin, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maguro Japanese Ala Carte Buffet, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ocho, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zinc Restaurant &amp; Bar, Kuching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TOP Creative Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TOP Creative Restaurants category recognises establishments distinguished by creativity, innovation and distinctive culinary concepts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Awardees:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Hachi by Kenny\u2019s, Miri;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MAK Restaurant, Miri;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tai-Tai Restaurant, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Chamber, Miri;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ZOZO Beans &amp; Booze, Kuching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TOP Indigenous Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The TOP Indigenous Restaurants category celebrates establishments that showcase indigenous culinary traditions, ingredients, heritage and contemporary expressions of Sarawak\u2019s food culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Awardees:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Borneo Cultures Museum Restaurant, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lepau Restaurant, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Little Fairy Caf\u00e9, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Budaya Restaurant, Santubong;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Lamin, Kuching.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Signature TOP25 Restaurants<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Signature TOP25 Restaurants category highlights establishments recognised for their distinctive dining experiences and contribution to Sarawak\u2019s culinary identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Awardees:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choon Hui Caf\u00e9, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kantin at the Granary, Kuching;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kebaya Story, Miri;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>M&amp;D\u2019s Restaurant, Bintulu;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oriental Bistro, Sibu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, the 25 awardees represent the breadth and diversity of Sarawak\u2019s culinary landscape, with restaurants recognised across Kuching, Miri, Sibu, Bintulu, Santubong and Bau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The awards also reinforce gastronomy\u2019s role in strengthening tourism, cultural preservation, community development, and economic growth.
