SINGAPORE, 19 November 2025: AirAsia X (AAX) celebrated another milestone with the launch of its inaugural direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Istanbul last week, extending greater value and connectivity for Singapore travellers through AirAsia\u2019s Fly-Thru options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Flight D7604 departed from Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (T2) at 0935 on 14 November and landed at Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en International Airport (SAW) at 1605 local time, signifying a historic moment for AAX as it connects Asean with one of the world\u2019s most dynamic cultural and economic cities.<\/p>\n\n\n

This launch marks the first-ever AAX service to T\u00fcrkiye, reaffirming the airline\u2019s commitment to expanding its footprint beyond Asia and offering affordable long-haul travel options for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AirAsia X CEO Benyamin Ismail said: \u201cIstanbul has long been one of the most requested destinations among AAX\u2019s guests \u2014 a true crossroads where East meets West, rich in history, culture and commerce.
