{"id":254026,"date":"2025-07-21T05:15:00","date_gmt":"2025-07-20T22:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/?p=254026"},"modified":"2025-07-21T06:08:25","modified_gmt":"2025-07-20T23:08:25","slug":"sarawak-greens-with-trees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/2025\/07\/sarawak-greens-with-trees\/","title":{"rendered":"Sarawak greens with trees"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MIRI, Sarawak, 21 July 2025: Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) celebrated a significant milestone in its long-term greening efforts last week by planting 2,500 native tree seedlings at Piasau Nature Reserve, Miri, as part of its ongoing ecoGreenPlanet Initiative.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It brings the cumulative total to 6,200 trees planted, representing 62% of the initiative\u2019s 10,000-tree target by 2027. Circular kitchen practices are also being implemented, with waste cooking oil converted into biodiesel through a collaboration with SD Guthrie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Gateway to Borneo 2025\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HpBnlHNrga0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer;
