{"id":235961,"date":"2024-05-13T06:15:00","date_gmt":"2024-05-12T23:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/?p=235961"},"modified":"2024-05-12T21:34:39","modified_gmt":"2024-05-12T14:34:39","slug":"utopia-of-the-seas-begins-sea-trials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/2024\/05\/utopia-of-the-seas-begins-sea-trials\/","title":{"rendered":"Utopia of the Seas begins sea trials"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SINGAPORE, 13 May 2024: Royal Caribbean International\u2019s Utopia of the Seas is almost ready for its debut as the next in the lineup of Oasis Class ships embarked on its open ocean sea trials on 10 May, just 10 weeks ahead of the new vacation\u2019s homecoming party and official introduction in Port Canaveral (Orlando), Florida, in July 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 900 specialists in naval architecture, engineering, navigation and design are on Utopia to push the ship to its limits and ensure it\u2019s ready for smooth sailing.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The teams are carrying out tests on how the ship moves through the open water and the operation of its navigation systems, as well as engine performance and back-of-house technical checks.
