This week-long event brings together airline and airport executives and is pivotal in highlighting destinations that could lead to new airline routes to power tourism expansion. LADA views the event as a crucial element that will help it reach its long-term goal of attracting more airlines to fly to the northern Malaysia island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier this year, the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA 2023) was hosted from 23 to 27 May 2023, marking the return of business tourism to the island following the Covid pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"MICE Destination &quot;Langkawi Best Wey!&quot; (Business)(30sec)\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3oCbQW-2FU8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" class=\"lazyload\" data-load-mode=\"1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 200 weekly flights serve Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur,&nbsp; Penang, Ipoh, Kota Bahru, Johor Bahru, and Singapore.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Flydubai will introduce direct flights from Dubai to popular island destinations in Malaysia in early 2024. The low-cost airline schedules daily service to Penang and Langkawi starting 10 February 2024.
