{"id":204798,"date":"2022-05-17T02:15:24","date_gmt":"2022-05-16T19:15:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/?p=204798"},"modified":"2022-05-17T03:13:03","modified_gmt":"2022-05-16T20:13:03","slug":"tat-jump-starts-promotions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/2022\/05\/tat-jump-starts-promotions\/","title":{"rendered":"TAT jump-starts promotions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BANGKOK, 17 May 2022: The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai AirAsia are partnering in a new marketing campaign targeting millennials and young couples from Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Amazing New Chapter: Rediscover Thailand was launched in\nSingapore last week by TAT deputy governor for international marketing \u2013 Asia\nand South Pacific, Tanes Petsuwan and Thai AirAsia Chief Executive Officer\nSantisuk Klongchaiya at an event presided over by Thailand\u2019s ambassador to\nSingapore Chutintorn Gongsakdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/TAT-and-Thai-AirAsia-Rediscover-600x337.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-204822 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 600px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/337;\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Singapore is a key visitor source market for Thailand, and the <em>&#8220;Amazing New Chapter: Rediscover Thailand&#8221;<\/em> leverages various joint promotion marketing activities rolled out by the TAT Singapore Office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign should sell around 3,000 seats on Thai\nAirAsia\u2019s flights from Singapore to Bangkok and Phuket to millennials and young\ncouples up until the close of the deals at the end of July. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thai AirAsia operates a daily flight on the Singapore-Don\nMueang Bangkok route and two weekly flights on the Singapore-Phuket route\n(Tuesday and Saturday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TAT estimates 2022 could close with 10 million foreign\ntourist arrivals, generating THB625.8 billion in tourism revenue.
