{"id":204199,"date":"2022-04-27T02:15:22","date_gmt":"2022-04-26T19:15:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/?p=204199"},"modified":"2022-04-27T15:32:29","modified_gmt":"2022-04-27T08:32:29","slug":"thai-airasia-returns-to-the-skies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/2022\/04\/thai-airasia-returns-to-the-skies\/","title":{"rendered":"Thai AirAsia X returns to the skies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BANGKOK, 27 April 2022: Thai AirAsia X, a low fare\nmedium-to-long haul carrier, announces it is ready to resume services by\ntransferring operations to Suvarnabhumi International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move should allow the airline to revive its business\ngrowth by establishing more travel connections to medium-to-long haul\ninternational destinations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1-11.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-204200 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline will return to the skies starting 1 June on two\nSouth Korea and Japan routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the route&nbsp;\nSuvarnabhumi (BKK) &#8211; Seoul (ICN), South Korea AirAsia X will fly three\ntimes a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays commencing 1 June 2022, <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the route Suvarnabhumi (BKK) \u2013 Narita (NRT) Japan, the\nairline will fly four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays\ncommencing&nbsp; 5 June 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thai AirAsia X is celebrating its return with a special\npromotion offering members flights to Seoul from THB2,990 per trip (or from\nTHB3,030 for non-members) and Tokyo Narita from only THB3,290 THB per trip (or\nfrom THB3,330 per trip for non-members).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal comes with unlimited flight changes and no flight\nchange fee. Guests may be subject to a fare difference. They should book early\nto secure the best value deals with all AirAsia. The special promotional is\nopen for sales until 1 May 2022 for travel from 1 June to 30 October 2022 via\nthe AirAsia Super App.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thai AirAsia X CEO Patima Jeerapaet said: &#8220;As\nInternational borders are now gradually reopening, we are excited to be or\nservice again to our guests. They can now prepare to fly again to some of the\nmost popular international destinations and as always, at the best value fares.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This is an incredible milestone. With Thailand\nofficially reopening and the Covid-19 situation now under control thanks to\nwidespread vaccination, we are thrilled that Thai AirAsia X is finally\nreturning to the skies commencing with two routes to Seoul, South Korea and\nTokyo Narita, Japan, both departing from Bangkok&#8217;s Suvarnabhumi Thailand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The return of Thai AirAsia X is a fascinating development. Our move to Suvarnabhumi International Airport makes us the first Thai low-cost, long haul carrier to operate from Bangkok&#8217;s main airport. The move has provided us with opportunities to enhance travel and our cargo business,&#8221; Patima noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Korea has relaxed travel requirements to allow entry without quarantine.
