From around 300 spectators for its\nfirst-ever concert back in 1998 to becoming the first hybrid festival of its\nkind in Malaysia. Concertgoers who miss the feel of the physical concert can\ncome together in mutual appreciation of world music, and those around the world\ncan enjoy world music live from the comfort of their own homes.\u201d&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/PIC2-600x450.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-203809 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 600px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/450;\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Sarawak Tourism Board CEO Puan Sharzede Datu Haji Salleh\nAskor added: &#8220;Every year, we strive to make Rainforest World Music\nFestival better than the year before. Last year&#8217;s Virtual Experience gave us\ninvaluable feedback on how we could work towards combining the best of both\nworlds \u2013 physical and the digital \u2013 to create RWMF&#8217;s first hybrid edition this\nyear. We hope that creating this unique precedent for the 25th edition of the\nfestival will become a keystone for the next 25 years for the festival,\nbridging the past with the future and sustaining and reinventing our musical\nheritage and its traditions for many years to come.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An Early Bird ticket sale starts today, 18 April, for both\nthe physical and virtual concerts on rwmf.net. For the physical concert,\nfestival-goers can buy tickets in various categories \u2013 Adult One-Day Pass\n(MYR150), Adult Three-Day Pass (MYR375),&nbsp;\nChild One-Day Pass (MYR80), Child Three-Day Pass (MYR155) and the\nOne-Day Family Package Pass- two Adult and two children (MYR400). Meanwhile,\nvirtual tickets are priced at MYR 25. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines has been named the official\nairline partner of the Rainforest World Music Festival. The collaboration,\nwhich is also a continuation of the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG)\u2019s partnership\nwith STB will see Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and Journify offering unbeatable\ndeals comprising flights and three-day event pass to drive visitors and drive\nfootfall to Sarawak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malaysia Airlines and Firefly will have early birds deals\nthat offer customers up to 15% and 10% off discounts on flights on selected\nMalaysia Airlines, including from London, Australia and some ASEAN destinations\nas well as the recently launched Firefly&#8217;s jet operations from Penang to\nKuching. The sales start from 25 April 2022 until 14 May 2022 for travel from 1\nJune until 30 June 2022. These tickets are available exclusively for those who\npurchase the three-day pass through the airline&#8217;s respective websites, and they\nare required to include a unique promo code to enjoy the great discounts on air\ntickets.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Customers will also have the option to purchase\n&#8220;value-for-flights&#8221; deals, exclusively available on Journify that\noffers MHflypass plus a 3-day pass to RWMF event at a fixed attractive price,\ngiving them full flexibility convenience, and control over their spending for\nthe flights. Early birds can buy an MHFlypass low as MYR1774 for Zone 2 and\nMYR1974 for Zone 3, with flights valid for one year. Multiple payment options\nare available for customers, including an instalment plan or Buy Now Pay Later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MHFlypass offers two convenient options for passengers travelling for RWMF based on their destination origin, allowing them to choose the zone that matches their travel needs best. Zone 2 offers passengers the opportunity to fly between Kuala Lumpur and destinations in Sabah and Sarawak.
