{"id":203657,"date":"2022-04-12T06:15:41","date_gmt":"2022-04-11T23:15:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/?p=203657"},"modified":"2022-04-12T06:28:54","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T23:28:54","slug":"jetstar-asia-wings-its-way-to-danang","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/2022\/04\/jetstar-asia-wings-its-way-to-danang\/","title":{"rendered":"Jetstar Asia wings its way to Danang"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SINGAPORE, 12 April 2022: Jetstar Asia celebrated its return to Danang as flight 3K541 took off from Singapore\u2019s Changi Airport Sunday evening after a two-year pause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jetstar Asia will operate two weekly services to Vietnam&#8217;s central coastal city with two-way quarantine-free flights now available between the two cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Da-Nang-Airport-600x437.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-203709 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 600px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/437;\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To mark the restart of the service, Jetstar Asia offers special one-way fares to Danang starting at SGD95 for travel from 19 April to 22 November 2022 bookable at jetstar.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First introduced in November 2015, the Jetstar Asia service carried more than 200,000 passengers between Singapore and Danang before flights paused in March 2020 due to the global pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jetstar Asia CEO Bara Pasupathi said the airline was excited\nto expand the Jetstar Asia network in Vietnam following the resumption of passenger\nservices to Ho Chi Minh City last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Danang has always been a key destination for our\ncustomers, not only for its beautiful sandy beaches, charming towns and\nincredible food but as one of the country&#8217;s largest cities. It is also an\nimportant destination for business travel,&#8221; said Pasupathi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;As border measures continue to relax, it&#8217;s great to be\nable to offer convenient international travel once again, and we expect to see\ncustomer confidence and demand recover quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to bring back our reliable on-time\nperformance, great value and exceptional customer service to Da Nang and look\nforward to working closely with our partners to promote this incredible\ndestination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Danang Tourism Promotion Center director, Nguyen Thi Hoai\nAn, said they highly appreciate the efforts of Jetstar Asia to relaunch the\nSingapore \u2013 Danang flight right after Vietnam is fully opened for international\ntourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSingapore is one of the important flight hubs to connect Da\nNang to the rest of the world, facilitate oversea travellers to come to Da Nang\nand open avenues for business exchange,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe hope that international tourism in Danang will soon\nbounce back along with the proliferation of international flights. As important\npartners, we will join hands to promote Jetstar&#8217;s flights and contribute to\naviation and tourism recovery&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new service 3K541 departs Singapore at 1855 and arrives\nin Danang at 2035. The return service, 3K542, departs at 2115 and arrives in\nSingapore at 0100 on the following morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jetstar&#8217;s Fly Flexible policy offers customers who book\nflights before 30 June 2022 a &#8216;fee free&#8217; date change when travelling before 31\nAugust 2023.
